Jeffreys History PDF Print E-mail

In the late 1940’s, the Jeffreys family responded to the needs of their customers by creating Jeffreys Cabinet Company.  Robert A. Jeffreys was the patriarch of the Jeffreys family. The company began to supply cabinets manufactured by Universal Cabinet Company, a division of Anheuser Busch, to the local dairies for ice cream storage.  The newly formed company focused on providing containment and storage units.

Anheuser Busch sold the tooling and technology of ice cream storage to Universal Match Company, presently known as Universal Nolan, who in turn located companies to sell the products.  Jeffreys Cabinet Company was the distributor for the territory from Durham, North Carolina to the eastern coast of North Carolina in the 1960's.

Jeffreys Cabinet Company now sells a wide variety of convenience store related products.  Our customers include convenience stores, dairies, yogurt and deli stores, fast food restaurants, and full-scale restaurants. We service national accounts as well as the small business customer.

Jeffreys maintains an excellent reputation and continually strives for excellence.
